Precise Ground Truth Data of the existing tree population are preeminent for the successful classification of different species of deciduous trees (please see project: » Tree species - Classification)

GEOSCAP delivered:
◌ A several-day-campaign to register the tree population in discerned areas classified in species and in comparison with LiDAR- and WorldView-2 data
◌ Data processing to use them for a large-area classification
